Sep 2013 Channel 4 orders six part series about domestic staff

Channel 4 has ordered a series from Studio Lambert about how butlers, groundsmen and housekeepers are recruited through job ads in The Lady magazine.

The 6 x 60-minute Situation Vacant (working title) will follow the specific requests of the readers and the efforts The Lady's team does to ensure potential employees are the right fit. It will take in the rigorous shortlisting and the interview process, with the jobs featured including some of the most prestigious in contemporary domestic service.
