Come Clog Dancing (BBC4)

 

In the last decades of the nineteenth century at the height of the industrial revolution, there was a dance, now rarely seen, that resounded through the collieries and pit villages of the north-east - clog-dance.

 

Now conductor and musician Charles Hazlewood plans to put it firmly back on the map by staging a mass flash-mob clog-dance.
